The Story Behind the Rack Card Gallery
In December 2009 HAS was approved for a promotional campaign grant from Muskoka Futures.
Part of the grant was for the production of 20,000 rack cards promoting awareness of HAS and Muskoka as a Designated Arts Community. A call for image submission went out to the membership to supply images our designer would then choose from to enhance one (1) rack card design. The incredible response from our membership inspired the resulting showcasing of over 45 members.
The uniqueness of these rack cards doesn't end there. The flip side offers space to reuse: Feature specific events and use as mail outs: Add a label, send to your client list: Attach a business card: use as a hand out: Write, stamp, draw...use the space creatively!
~~~
It is with great appreciation we acknowledge the following groups, people, and businesses who helped make this happen:
Muskoka Futures for their funding support.
Carolyne Wagland of Gravity Art and Design, for her generous design in-kind donation and passionate creativity which led to 24 different faces to the rack cards.
David Wilson of DWC Prints who went above and beyond the norm to make this affordable for HAS.
And to all of our members who shared their spectacular works! Thank you for the inspiration!
