Art Education
Huntsville Art Society provides an environment which encourages creativity and ongoing learning through networking and sharing. We strive to provide opportunities for both novice members and experienced artists to learn, grow and share their knowledge and expertise.
The Art Space - 2-58 Main St. E., Huntsville - off Caroline/Queen St, across from River Mill Park (below Big Bead)
Open Studio
Open Studio "Share & Learn" - set aside your Wednesday afternoons to socialize, share and learn - for every level of experience from beginners taking their first steps in creative expression, to emerging and professional artists wanting to expand their horizons. A great opportunity for visual and functional artists to network, work together, glean tips or advice, & share experiences.
Open Studio also offers one-hour demonstrations, seminars and community classes presented by exceptional local instructors and business sponsors. Drop-Ins welcome!
The Art Space. Standard Open Studio fee - Members $5, non-members $10
ATC Nights
Artist Trading Cards - create & trade small works of art - every second Monday, 7 to 9pm
The Art Space. ATC Nights fee - Members $5, non-members $10
Workshops
Ongoing Adult & Teen Art Workshops and Classes - a great variety of One Day to Four Week Workshops and Classes - presented by talented & inspirational instructors. Check it out - there's something for everyone!
The Art Space. Morning, afternoon and evening classes & workshops available
Childrens' Programs
Creativation presents Winter Art Programs for ages 6 to 12. Saturday Mornings, PA Days, and Winter Break programs include drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media.
