Annual Themed Exhibition, Show & Sale: Art & Lyrics
 | This 2 day event opens with a wine & cheese reception including live musical entertainment by Tobin Springs & Friends on Friday August 20, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and continues Saturday August 21, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Curling Club, 6 Veteran's Way. Inspired by song lyrics of their choice, each artist submits their best themed work for the “Art & Lyrics” exhibition component held in the club's Lounge area. The June Best Memorial Award for Best in Show Members Choice is presented to the Artist whose work is deemed "Best in Show" by their peers and colleagues of the Huntsville Art Society. Guest Judges will present additional awards for Best in Theme 2D, Best in Theme 3D and Best in Theme Overall during the opening night Gala.

On the ice-free arena floor, visitors and residents are invited to enjoy additional works from these artists; among the many brimming booths, creative works in all mediums and inspirations await to brighten the home and garden, sparkle on the wrist, or delight as gifts. The viewing public is encouraged to join in the awards process by voting for Best in Show: People’s Choice Award.
